Questions

  1. What are the requirements for participating on the team?
    • Agreement with our mission/vision/core values.
    • Willingness to follow team leadership.
    • Reasonable availability, willingness, and ability to carry out tasks.
    • Ability to work with others as a team player.
  2. Must I leave my current church in order to be involved in the launch team?

    No. Team involvement terminates in January, 2009 when the church officially launches. If you wish, you can choose to serve for a slightly extended period to assist the church for a while after the post launch phase (However, You should talk with the leaders of your home church before you do this).

    Of course if you do not already have a committed relationship with a church, then we hope that you will continue with us and make Upper Arlington Christian Assembly your church home.

  3. Do you financially support those who volunteer for the Launch Team?

    No. This is a volunteer activity. It should not be confused with hiring on for a staff position. Being a Launch Team member does not mean a person must serve in a full-time capacity. However, if you do wish to serve full-time, then you must be prepared to establish your own funding.
